In case you arrive by plane, you can land either at Aeropuerto Internacional de Carrasco close to Montevideo or at Aeropuerto de Laguna del Sauce in Punta del Este. This airport only receives the following airlines: Aerolíneas Argentinas, PLUNA, SOL and TAM.

By bus: COPSA and COT companies have direct buses to Punta del Este both from Montevideo and from the Aeropuerto Internacional de Carrasco. The trip takes about two hours and one hour and a half respectively. From the Bus Terminal of Punta del Este is required to take a taxi to the conference hotel.
Montevideo and Colonia del Sacramento can be reached by ferryboat from Buenos Aires. Many enterprises include the ground transportation to Punta del Este.

Punta del Este can be reached by car. As an example, from Montevideo take Ruta Interbalnearia to Punta del Este, the distance is: 134 km. From Colonia take Ruta No. 1 to Montevideo and then ruta Interbalnearia to Punta del Este. Distance: 301 Km.
